Finance Assistant

Budapest, Hungary

The purpose of the Finance Assistant role is to support the Financial Controller and CFO in the day-to-day running of the Finance department. The position will offer considerable opportunity for the right person to gain invaluable experience within a rapidly developing company.



Responsibilities:

  • Client billing – liaising with our sales teams across US, UK, France, confirming invoicing details and signed contracts are in place
  • Debtor/creditor management – managing this process across the group, ensuring clients are paying us on time and we’re paying suppliers on time
  • Coding of Purchase invoices, including creating new Nominal Codes
  • Bank reconciliations – reconciling bank accounts across the group, ensuring receipts and invoices are uploaded into Xero
  • Employee expense review and reimbursement
  • Assisting with cash-flow forecasting
  • Ad-hoc reporting
  • Assisting with month-end duties, supporting the Financial Controller in closing the books each month

You're a perfect match if you have:
 
  • Experience of Xero
  • Very high attention to detail and proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Min. 1-3 years of experience working for a multinational, multi-currency organization
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Understanding of accounting principles, accruals, prepayments.
